Some Walkie Talkies and friends joined together to walk along State Route 106 on April 23rd to pick up litter from along side the road, from Hood Canal School all the way to Alderbrook Resort. The group of eight stalwarts picked up an entire pickup truck full of trash as part of the Earth Day "Billion Acts of Green" celebration. See photos attached of the group with their "treasure" after completing the walk. We had lunch at Charles and Val Johnson's and enjoyed resting on our laurels after the walk. Even though it was a lot of work, we thought we might even do it again next year!
